As I Say And Do

As I Say And Do Theatre Apprenticeship Program

Reuben Yabuku interview with Glenda Lewis of WXYZ TV 7Support helps us provide hands-on educational experiences, mentorship opportunities, artistic and technical skill development, and social enrichment through our theatre arts apprenticeship program.  Training may be in a corporate-sponsored theatre workshop, or it may be in an actual theatre production in a cast or stage crew capacity as a volunteer or paid professional.  For every Buku production we train fledgling youth actors and technicians as volunteers or as paid members of the production.

Your tax-deductible donation to BUKU CARES affords Detroit area youth the opportunity to receive first-hand theatre arts training from highly experienced professionals in the area of performers, stagehands, lighting and sound technicians or even the director’s assistant.  Your contribution can elevate an underserved, at-risk youth from volunteer to paid professional.  Please GIVE generously to support the AS I SAY AND DO theatre apprenticeship program.

You can contribute easily by clicking on the DONATE BUTTON below and paying via PayPal’s secure online payment system; just follow the prompts.
